Companies can receive life-saving digital developments up to 20 times faster
The rampant labor shortage in the IT sector is not a new problem: while there are currently nearly 1 million unfilled positions in the field in the USA, the digital economy, which accounts for almost 20% of domestic GDP, is associated with emigration, strictures affecting low-tax businesses and basic education struggles with its shortcomings.
All of this is compounded by the need for digitization, which is rising like panic during the epidemic, as five times more orders are coming to development companies these days. The solution may be the increasingly popular low-code/no-code technology, which combines the advantages of boxed products and individual applications: it is fast, cost-effective and optimizes resource requirements. What aspects should be taken into account when adapting the technology and why should you start using it as soon as possible? The Stylers explored the issue as part of the Protechtor knowledge-sharing event series.
A situation that is painfully familiar to almost every software developer: by the time a product reaches the finish line from the first meetings and discussions, the needs are usually completely transformed, newer technology must be chosen, and the team members working on the project are almost completely replaced. This is an almost usual position in the IT sector today, which is also affected by the labor shortage of more than 26,000 people, the increasingly serious emigration and the increase in the number of professionals working abroad, as well as the problem of student replacements who perform less well on the mathematics and science PISA tests related to digital performance. hit
