Despite the dry weather, the extent of inland water spots decreased only slowly in the Great Plain. The autumn crops are in relatively good condition, but the plants suffered from the permanent water coverage, especially rape, which also died in the water spots.

In 2021 and 2022, for example, frosts of around minus 10 degrees occurred in the country in mid-March, they wrote.

According to the forecast, it will rain several times in the next week, but it will still be mild

The southerly wind will be accompanied by strong gusts in several directions on Thursday and Friday, and the air movement will moderate slightly from the weekend. The temperature is still above the long-term average, no night frost is expected until the middle of next week.
