Sunflowers and corn, which are still shallowly rooted, develop in drought conditions in most parts of the country. The sunny weather was good for the ripening of the early fruits, strawberries and cherries, but more moisture would have been needed for the growth of the grains, they wrote.

A ccording to the forecast, the next week will be more variable and rainier than before

On average, between 5 and 15 millimeters of rain may fall until Saturday morning, but much more may fall locally. On Saturday and Sunday, showers and thunderstorms are to be expected in fewer places, and then on Monday and Tuesday, precipitation is expected again in a larger area, so overall, the amount of precipitation that will fall in the next week is likely to be between 30 and 50 millimeters in a large part of the country.
