Hungarian melons are becoming significantly more expensive

Melons can become more expensive on an annual basis
The summary of the agricultural portal mainly explains the increase in production costs and the decrease in the production area. Watermelons were grown domestically last year on 3,500 hectares, but this year on just 3,000 hectares, due to labor shortages and sales uncertainties. Rising production, transport and labor costs are also causing prices to rise. (MTI)
