Agroinform.hu: the expanding sales of agricultural machinery indicates improved efficiency

The efficiency of production is improved by the fact that farmers in Hungary bought much more tractors than last year in the first half of the year – agroinform.hu told MTI on Wednesday.

Farmers buy tractors

According to data from Datahouse, compared to the same period of last year, 2,425 new tractors were sold domestically by the end of June this year, 48 percent more. Sales jumped especially in the previous month, reaching 88 percent with 504 tractors, but also previously exceeded last year’s value. 52 percent of the tractors sold were heavier than 8 tons. (MTI)
