Climate protection instead of agricultural support
The pre-draft document in which the European Commission outlines its visions for the 2014 – 2020 budget, indicates a strong shift from the agricultural policy and employement towards climate change and foreign policy.
The pre-draft document which is not the Commission's formal proposal would spent the significant part of the common budget on the creation of jobs (to improve competitiveness), the efforts to combat against climate change instead of agricultural and regional policy, which took the most money from the budget, in recent decades – reports portfolio.hu.
