Ministry of Agriculture: Jászsági Summer Truffle received EU protection
The Jászsági Summer Truffle has received EU protection, the Ministry of Agriculture told MTI on Friday.
As they wrote, the European Commission gave EU protection for the “jászsági nyári szarvasgomba” (Jászsági Summer Truffle) in a regulation published on 19 August.
It was added that the protected geographical indication for the Jászsági Summer Truffle refers to the fresh local version of the Tuber aestivum Vittad in the designated geographical area. (MTI)
