Ministry of Agriculture: new regulation encourages generational renewal in agriculture
He pointed out that the aim of the new legislation was to support intergenerational renewal and encourage intergenerational cooperation. Almost two-thirds of individual farmers are over 55, and more than half of this group is 65 or older. And half of the managers of economic organizations are over 55 years old, so it has a paramount importance for the government to allow for the smooth transfer of farms. (MTI)
