The possibility of joining the agricultural crisis insurance system, which is a unique, new and innovative element of the Hungarian agricultural risk management system, was reopened and is operating between 1-28 February, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) announced in a statement on Wednesday.

“We recommend that farmers consider joining another element of the agricultural safety net,” -Feldman Zsolt said.

The Secretary of State for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture explained: loss of income in excess of that entitles you to compensation. Accession is voluntary and obligatory for the farmer for a period of three years. (MTI)
