Papp Zsolt György, Deputy State Secretary for Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture, gave a presentation on the results of plant modernization in the horticultural sector and the possibilities for support and development at the Sirha Budapest International Food and HoReCa trade fair, the Ministry of Agriculture informed MTI in a statement.

2600 businesses can renew their horticultural machinery

Recently, significant support opportunities have opened up for development in both the fruit and vegetable sectors. Nearly 2 million square meters of new greenhouse space can be established, of which nearly 900,000 square meters will be used as a new greenhouse, which will be able to provide the consumption demand that is essential for the Hungarian population throughout the year. I think this is a serious result, worth almost 90 billion forints, said Papp Zsolt György. (MTI)
