Agricultural Ministers’ meeting in Budapest
The Ministers of Agriculture of the Visegrád countries (Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia) and Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Slovenia will meet in Budapest on Thursday – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
The meeting – where the financing of the new common agricultural policy will be on the agenda – will also be attended by Phil Hogan, EU Agricultural Supervisor.
According to Sándor Fazekas, it is important to maintain agricultural subsidies because their decline may result in higher food prices for quality food and the appearance of food imitations on the market.
