Minister of Agriculture: The government spends more than four thousand billion forints on the development of the Hungarian countryside
Through the rural development pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the government can spend a historically large amount of 4,265 billion HUF on the development of the Hungarian countryside, Hungarian agriculture and food industry until 2027, said Minister of Agriculture Nagy István, according to the ministry’s information on Monday.
In a communication sent to the MTI, the Minister drew attention to the fact that one of the biggest tasks of the next decade of the 21st century is the development of rural areas, the improvement of the quality of life of the people living there, the creation of attractive and locally available jobs for young people, better quality living conditions, infrastructure and services.
