Agricultural economist: Hungarian agriculture is on a long-term development path
Hungarian agriculture is on a long-term growth path. Last year, output increased by more than 3 percent. compared to the previous year – Fórián Zoltán, agricultural economist told M1 news channel.
There are sectors where Hungarian agriculture faces a serious challenge, but 2019 was a good above-average year. Yields were at the previous year’s level, but prices rose appreciably by almost 4 percent during the year. This resulted in increased emissions, he added. (MTI)
