Chamber of Agriculture: everyone is interested in the domestic sales of Hungarian milk
Everyone is interested in the domestic sales of Hungarian milk – the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) told MTI on Tuesday, after the consultation of stakeholders; the representatives of several large supermarket chains, as well as producers and processors.
According to the participants, a collaboration must be done to ensure that farmers are not selling Hungarian milk abroad, because milk shortage may occur. The Chamber of Agriculture will continue to lobby for the reduction of the value added tax (VAT) of the UHT and long shelf life (ESL) milks to 5 percent. (MTI)
