The Chamber of Agriculture should bring food production closer to the people
In the future, the industrial character of food production will be further strengthened, but at the same time it should be brought closer to the people. It is one of the major challenges the sector is facing – was said at the roundtable discussion of the 30th Summer University of Bálványos and Student Camp.
In a statement sent to the MTI on Friday the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) the organizer of the roundtable discussion quoted Nagy István, Minister of Agriculture, who said that there would be consequences for the further separation of man from nature, so we should re-teach children what nature is and show the processes to society that bring food to the table.
