The hail damage reduction system saves the yield
Thanks to the hail damage reduction system, Hungary has been less affected by the turbulent weather of recent days, whereas hail has caused serious damage in cross-border areas – the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI.
It has been reported that, based on data from recent years, NAK has brought forward the start of the defensive season from 1 May to 15 April, as hail can be expected even in the second half of April; heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by hail, may occur. (MTI)
