Chamber of Agriculture: weather favors field work

Early spring weather has favored field work, but drought is a problem in several parts of the country, the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI on Tuesday.

According to the summary, the night frosts did not significantly damage the field crops, and due to the poor rainfall, the inland water also receded.

However, according to the data of the National Meteorological Service (OMSZ), the amount of precipitation in the last 90 days is almost 10-30 millimeters lower than usual in almost the whole of Transdanubia, Nógrád, Pest county, and in most of Bács-Kiskun county. (MTI)
