Agricultural Chamber: Farmers do not have to worry about the unusually hot January weather
Farmers are worried about the warm weather in January, but according to the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK), the warm weather has no negative impact on most plants, because nature is “sleeping” and grapes and fruits are in a so-called deep resting phase.
The Agrarian Chamber draws attention to the fact that sprouting can be observed locally, especially in ornamental plants, but it can be said generally that the warm weather has not awakened the plant cultures from their deep resting phase yet, sprouting can be detected in some microclimates, in warmer areas and on specific soil structure.
