Apricot production is expected to be poor
Apricot production is expected to be weak this year. Due to the frosts in March, less than half of the average 30,000 tonnes of crops will be harvested – was said at the apricot presentation of the National Agricultural Chamber and the National Food Chain Security Agency ( Nébih) in Tordas, Fejér County.
According to the Agricultural Chamber’s announcement, the the most significant damage occured in the West Pannonian and South Great Plain regions, where the apricot crop was completely destroyed. (MTI)
