The Austrian Ottakringer, the parent company of the Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt. is concerned about the situation of its subsidiary
The Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt., whose leadership has been replaced one and a half years ago, has been operating with loss for years. According to the parent company's semi-annual report, the situation of the Pécsi Sörfőzde Zrt. is concerned. The consumption decreased again, and the company was not able to manage to overcome the losses, compared to the previous year. The communication did not report datas about the extent of the losses.
The Hungarian data hurts the parent company, because in the first half of 2014 the net income of Ottakringer increased from 2.46 million to 2.74 million, euros, while the turnover increased with 6.2 million to 113.2 million. The increased the turnover at the Austrian company is mainly due to its Vöslauer mineral water brand. (MTI)
