Africa in focus

One of the conferences organised as part of the Macfrut trade exhibition was discussing the role of the fruit and vegetable sector in the development of Sub-Saharan Africa. Fruit and vegetable growing can be important in bringing positive social and economic changes in this part of the world. In 2016 Macfrut also presented many ‘green’ innovations. For instance one of the new methods introduced was growing without soil.
