METRO boss recommends lowering of VAT
According to reports in Financial Times Deutschland, the Chief Executive of Metro Group, Eckhard Cordes, has said that VAT should be lowered to support the German economy.
According to Cordes, lower VAT would
directly boost domestic demand and thus indirectly improve the
investment climate.
