Shops are closed on Sundays for a year now
It was in March 2015 that the regulation, according to which stores must stay closed on Sundays, entered into force. Today the majority of shoppers would still like to go shopping on Sundays. Stores tried to adapt to the new situation with longer opening hours on the other six days of the week. According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the number of employees decreased by 8,000-9,000 in the sector.
