VAT fraud with six billion HUF worth sweets
A criminal organization was cought, with six-billion HUF worth sweets. The members of the criminal organization are suspected with fiscal fraud causing particular huge financial losses – the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the notice, a 40-year-old man in Pest county on the basis of the orders of two Bács-Kiskun based warehouses acquired chocolate bars and other popular brands of candies from other EU countries. The imported sweets were billed to firms but the goods did not appear in reality, and then they did not comply with their VAT payment obligations. (MTI)
