The poultry producers welcome the reduction of VAT
Csorbai Attila CEO of the Poultry Product Council (BTT) considered the announcement of Varga Mihály, Minister of National Economy very favorable for the poultry sector.
According to the Minister of National Economy’s Wednesday announcement, the Value Added Tax on poultry would be reduced to 5 percent next year.
Csorbai Attila told that it would be beneficial both to the entire poultry sector both the consumers, while the budget would lose about 30-35 billion HUF annually – according to preliminary calculations.
