The Poultry Product Council calls for VAT reduction

According to the Poultry Product Council (BTT), the drastic feed price increase threatens the market participants of the sector.

The organization believes, that without government measures the poultry sector will not be able to keep its production, and this threatens almost 60 thousand jobs.

According to the Poultry Product Council (BTT), the VAT of the fresh poultry products, eggs and pork products should be decreased from 25 percent to 10 percent, in order to handle the drastic food price increase – reports Világgazdaság Online.
