Aegon Asset Management: the inflation will remain low in long-terms
The low inflation remains persistent in Europe and in Hungary, in fact, it is a global phenomenon virtually – was said on Wednesday at the Aegon Fund Management’s press conference in Budapest.
Duronelly Péter, Senior Portfolio Manager believes that not just the overhead reduction contributed to the significant reduction of inflation in Hungary, but for example, the companies can no longer increase the firms' profits with price increases.
He also think that the central bank’s medium-term inflation target of 3 percent may need to be changed. (MTI)
