Borsodi’s winter beer specialties create an Advent atmosphere

Christmas and New Year’s Eve will once again offer special experiences, with Borsodi Brewery’s seasonal mulled beers returning to the festive festivities. In addition to the mulled Belle-Vue Kriek, a festive, heated version of Guinness, which debuted with great success last year, will also be available this year.

During the holiday season, fair visitors can once again get in the mood for Christmas with special mulled beers: for a limited time, Borsodi Brewery is bringing back the mulled Belle-Vue Kriek flavored with cinnamon, orange and cloves, as well as the mulled Guinness created in collaboration with Diageo beer experts.

The special character of Belle-Vue Kriek, which has been aged in oak barrels for three years, is completed by cinnamon, orange and cloves – this unique flavor world was first tasted by lovers of beer specialties three years ago, courtesy of Borsodi.

The mulled version of Guinness was introduced to the general public last year. It is based on the iconic stout made in Ireland, which was supplemented with dark, spicy rum, and the harmonious Advent flavor was completed by the experts of Borsodi Brewery and Diageo with the addition of cardamom, lemon juice and star anise, among other things.

“The feedback from the past two years has confirmed to us that mulled beers have a place in the holiday offer and this year anyone can again taste the mulled Belle-Vue Kriek and the winter version of Guinness. It is true that Irish stout represents a more pronounced flavor, but I think that anyone who loves Guinness will also appreciate this type of variant”

The mulled beer made from Guinness is exclusively Bazilika Advent can be tasted at the Christmas market, at the Guinness House, while the boiled Belle-Vue Kriek awaits visitors in the festive bustle of Vörösmarty Square.
