Rossmann ended the year with donations
At the end of the year, Rossmann supported foundations that help children and young people living in state care, as well as make the dreams of life-threateningly ill children come true. In addition to a product donation, they also contributed to the costs of a living container, and the customers were also able to participate in the good deeds through the amount received from the canvas bags that can be purchased in Rossmann stores and Online Drugstore.
The ÁGOTA Foundation, which has been operating for 25 years, supports young people living in state care and at risk, including children living in 76 children’s homes and residential homes in 19 counties of the country. Professional and pedagogical programs and experience programs are organized for them, and they try to improve their living conditions with individual assistance.
Their traditional year-end gala evening has been supported by Rossmann for years. This time, the drugstore chain contributed to a better Christmas for the children with a HUF 4 million housing container and an additional HUF 1 million product donation, which were presented at the foundation’s large-scale ceremony in Szeged on December 19.
The Ágota Foundation and the Szent Ágota Children’s Protection Service came to the national celebration from 13 counties, about a thousand children living in foster care or in residential homes. Thanks to more than fifty supporters, the children received a personalized Christmas present. The organization’s employees and volunteers were also awarded at the ceremony, to which Rossmann also contributed.
