Avalanche of donations from the Food Bank
The Hungarian Food Bank Association supplied 25 percent more families living in extreme poverty and retired people in 2011, than during the previous years – told the association to MTI.
This year new sponsors helped in the Food Avalanche program. In the scope of the initiative launched by the Hungarian Food Bank Association and by Syngenta for the fourth time this year, 25 million HUF worth of perishable food was collected to the needy people – reports MTI.
