Fundraising abuses
We hereby inform the public that the Heim Pál National Pediatric Institute does not collect donations in any form in public areas, such as on the streets, at train stations, or in other public places.
Our children’s hospital accepts donations exclusively through official foundations, based on a written support agreement.
Please do not give money to strangers on the grounds that this “supports Heim Pál Children’s Hospital or sick children”. Not even if these people offer stickers, calendars, bookmarks, or show photos of sick children with seemingly authentic stories on behalf of any organization.
Our institute does not publish images of seriously ill children on its official website or social media platforms. We protect the dignity of children recovering in our hospitals, especially children in vulnerable situations, and we do not use them for fundraising purposes.
