Adecco: Prejudice against female leaders is unfounded
According to Eurostat’s 2020 survey, more than 9.5 million people worked as managers in the third quarter of last year, of which 6.2 million were men. Although women account for almost half (46 percent) of the EU’s workforce, only 35 percent are in leadership positions. The discrepancy may seem worrying, but the situation is much better than it was 20 years ago, when the figure was below 30 percent.
