Phishing scammers are sending emails using the Wizz Air’s name
Phishing emails have been sent in Hungary in recent days using the name of Wizz Air, offering 10 euro vouchers on a website very similar to the airline’s – the airline warned in a statement sent to MTI on Monday.
By clicking on the link sent in the email, a questionnaire appears, and then banking details, including bank card details, are requested.
The airline emphasized that it communicates exclusively from its email address ending in wizzair.com, and never asks for bank or bank card details in the case of vouchers.
Wizz Air warns its customers not to open the link in the suspicious email and never to give out their details to a third party.
