Magazine: Steel bean
Coffee and tea drinkers hate it when their taste buds are burnt by the hot drink. Coffee Joulies was invented by two young Americans. Thanks to a special non-toxic material that’s sealed inside the bean-like stainless steel shells, the invention helps to cool down a drink to 60 ºC faster than normal, then use the energy stored during that process to keep it warm. The inventors received orders for 8,000 five-piece sets, which are sold for USD 50.
