The ZONA has become the restaurant of the year in 2014

The ZONA restaurant in Budapest has earned the Restaurant of the Year title in 2014. The recognition was handed over to chef Huszár Krisztián at the Hennessy Dining Guide Restaurant of the Year awards ceremony on Monday evening. This year the street food places were awarded for the first time.

The Dining Guide Award – founded in 2004 – is one of the most important recognition in the Hungarian hospitality industry. In 2005 and 2007 the Fausto's, in 2006, the Lou Lou restaurant won the top prize. In 2008 the Bock Bistro 2008, in 2009 and 2012, the Costes, in 2010 at the Chateau Visz, in 2011 and 2013, the Onyx won teh Restaurant of the Year title. (MTI)
