Norway’s Kiwi promotes healthy eating by cutting vegetable prices in early autumn

Norwegian discount retailer Kiwi is cutting the prices of 25 of its best-selling vegetables, since shoppers see price as the biggest barrier to healthy eating. Seven out of ten shoppers would like to follow the advice to eat 5-8 portions of vegetables a day, but find it too expensive to implement, according to a survey by Respons Analyse. 84% of respondents think fruit and vegetables are “expensive or very expensive”. //
