Pándi cherry cake of Zilah coffee-house became the Cake of the Country

The Industry College of Hungarian National Confectioners greets Hungary on its Birthday with Pándi cherry cake.

For three years, on 20th August, in the course of the Prime Minister's Office and the Industry College of Hungarian National Confectioners presents Cake of the Country to the public.
This year, 15 cakes applied for the title. In 2007 Madártej cake, in the 2008 Szatmár plum cake won. The aim of the Cake of the Country competition is that, all the inhabitants of the country can celebrate the anniversary of the state with a special dessert –  reports EsemenyMenedzser.hu.
