Wolt launches hybrid delivery
Wolt introduces Wolt Hybrid Delivery, which allows merchants to seamlessly switch between using Wolt’s delivery service and their own delivery.
In order to better serve the changing needs of restaurants, Wolt is pleased to introduce the Wolt Hybrid Delivery option within its Self-delivery service. This allows merchants to decide on an hourly basis whether to leverage Wolt’s network of courier partners or use their own delivery staff to fulfill Wolt orders.
Every restaurant has unique needs, so Wolt offers a variety of partnership opportunities to help them achieve their business goals. Therefore, as part of this ongoing commitment, Wolt introduced Self-Delivery in 2022, which allows restaurants to employ their own delivery staff to fulfill Wolt orders. After the introduction, hundreds of restaurants – for example Pizza, Kávé, Világbéke in Miskolc, Al Capone Pizzeria, Bécsi Szelet Vendéglő, or Mr. Shawarma – used the Wolt platform to reach new customers while supporting and retaining their own in-house their delivery staff.
