Wizz Air systems will be temporarily down for scheduled maintenance mid-week
Wizz Air will temporarily suspend the availability of its booking and digital customer service systems between Wednesday night and Thursday morning this week, as the airline is carrying out scheduled maintenance – Wizz Air told MTI on Monday.
It was highlighted that the planned shutdown will last from 23:00 on February 25 to 08:00 on February 26.
During this period, the following services will not be available: booking new tickets, managing existing reservations, online check-in, booking functions of the Wizz Air mobile application, as well as redemption of vouchers, services related to customer profile.
At the same time, attention was drawn to the fact that flights will operate according to schedule, and passengers who have already checked in before will not be affected by the shutdown.
At the same time, it was indicated that Wizz Air advises its passengers who have not yet checked in for their flight to do so before the shutdown. However, if necessary, airport check-in will be free of charge during the system update.
Wizz Air operates a fleet of 262 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The company carried 68.6 million passengers in 2025.
