The Wax Cap of Whiskey – Video of the Day
Maker’s Mark is the only bourbon whose name is not spelled whiskey, but rather Scotch whisky, but the drink has many other unique features. For example, its recipe is not a secret (70% corn, 14% malted barley, and what makes it special: 16% red winter wheat). In addition, its bottle is also unconventional: it looks more like a cognac bottle, and each bottle is made with a different shape of wax cap, as each one is dipped by hand in hot red wax.
