Walmart lays off hundreds of workers at five US fulfilment centres
In the USA hundreds of workers at five Walmart fulfilment centres are being asked to find jobs within 90 days at other Walmart locations. The impacted workers would receive their salaries for 90 days to find jobs at other facilities, including those in Joliet, Illinois, and Lancaster, Texas, where the company has opened new high-tech e-commerce distribution centres.
