Walmart buys food delivery company Cornershop
Walmart paid USD 225 million for Cornershop, a food delivery company that is active in Chile and Mexico. Walmart is investing a lot of money in the online sales channel in Mexico. They transformed 263 stores into e-commerce compatible units and from these 100 offers home delivery.
