On 30 June Wal-Mart, the world’s biggest retailer acquired Chinese online grocery store Yihaodian.com in full. Yihaodian’s online experience and the logistics background of Wal-Mart store constitute a competitive advantage in the Asian market, where Carrefour and Tesco are also expanding their business.
