The Wal-Mart is the world's sixth most powerful brand
The Disney is the most powerful, while the Apple is the most valuable brand in the world – according to the Global 500 list 2016 of the British Brand Finance market research and business consulting firm. The retail trade is represented by Wal-Mart among the best brands.
Last year, thanks to the success of the “Star Wars – The Force awakening” film the Disney took the world's “strongest” brand title.
The Disney scored 92 out of the possible 100 points in the assessment of the “Brand Strength Index (BSI)” however it is only one element of the criteria considered when compiling the brand value rankings in Brand Finance’s Global 500 list. (MTI)
