Waberer’s and MVM have agreed on a long-term cooperation
Waberer’s Logistics Segment and the MVM Group have agreed on a new three-year strategic cooperation, based on which a unified, efficient logistics and transport system will be developed in the energy sector; the agreement will contribute to increasing MVM’s security of supply and operational efficiency, Waberer’s Group informed MTI on Friday.
The announcement states that Waberer’s, a provider of complex logistics services, won the MVM Group’s tender announced in December 2024, and a three-year cooperation framework agreement was signed on July 3, 2025.
The project will be implemented in three phases, during which the operations of the member companies will be assessed and the supply chain optimized, the announcement said. According to the agreement, the services provided by Waberer’s Logistics cover the entire range of logistics processes, including the transport and storage of raw materials, iron structures, cable drums, scaffolding systems, building materials, tools, solar panels, as well as various production and maintenance materials.
In its announcement, Waberer’s Group highlighted that it intends to become a market-leading complex logistics service provider in the region in the medium term. According to the strategic plan, the company’s sales revenue could reach 1.7 billion euros by 2031, and EBIT could exceed 100 million euros.
Waberer’s Group is a leading European road logistics company with its own fleet and the market-leading complex logistics service provider in Hungary. It operates a modern fleet of around 2,800 trucks, 18 locomotives and over 1,000 railcars and over 160 buses, and manages a modern warehouse of around 250,000 square meters, providing the region with the largest logistics capacity.
The Waberer’s Group’s consolidated sales revenue increased by 6.5 percent to EUR 757.5 million in 2024, while its operating profit (EBIT) increased by 5 percent to EUR 45 million. The contract logistics segment’s sales revenue in 2024 was almost EUR 252 million, an increase of 20 percent year-on-year. The segment’s EBIT increased by 25 percent to EUR 19.2 million.
