The 2008 vintage Cabernet Franc wine of Vylyan has won the Grand Prize of the 19th Wine Festival of Szeged
The 2008 vintage Cabernet Franc wine of the Vylyan Vineyards and Winery won the Grand Prize of the 19th Wine Festival of Szeged. The recognition was handed over on Tuesday in Szeged.
The masterpiece of the Villány-based winery, that also won the Wine of Szeged 2013 title was chosen from 120 submitted items by the professional jury.
The festival’s finest white wine became the 2012 vintage Kunsági cserszegi fűszeres of the Gál Vineyards and Winery. The best red wine became the 2011vintage Turul cuvée of the Szekszárd-based Vesztergombi Winery. The finest dessert wine became the 2010 viintage Renaissance Cuvée of Tokajicum. (MTI)
