VOSZ makes further proposals to improve the operating conditions of businesses
The National Association of Entrepreneurs and Employers (VOSZ) is making further proposals to improve the operating conditions of businesses, the employers’ interest representation told MTI on Tuesday.
In the statement, László Perlusz, Secretary General of VOSZ, highlighted that they appreciate the government’s prudence in that it intends to adapt to the changed economic circumstances compared to last year’s plans in both industrial policy, industrial protection and employment policy. They welcome the fact that the extremely preferential, 3 percent interest loan is being extended to other loan products of the Széchenyi Card Program, and they support the other elements of the Sándor Demján Program. At the same time, VOSZ considers tax and contribution benefits, as well as the reduction of administrative costs, as important as supporting the spread of technologies based on artificial intelligence.
Regarding the wage agreement concluded last year, the Secretary General highlighted that they intend to continue the wage convergence program, but economic growth is significantly lagging behind last year’s plans, so renegotiation of the schedule will be inevitable, according to him.
Given the government’s openness at the meeting of the Competition Sector and the Government’s Permanent Consultation Forum (VKF) on August 18, there is a good chance of implementing an acceptable and motivating wage development that does not burden businesses with unbearable wage costs, neither next year nor after – the Secretary General stated in the statement.
