Volvo Hungária Kft. opened its ultramodern, sustainable site in Ecser
Volvo Hungária Kft. has made the largest investment in its history at its new site in Ecser, which will serve as the company’s domestic headquarters from September. The facility, which was ceremonially handed over on August 23, 2024, is not only the largest and greenest center in the Eastern European region of Volvo Trucks, but also the home of offices and service centers equipped with the most modern technologies.
5,500 square meters of buildings and 23,000 square meters of green space were created on the 70,500 square meter site created as part of the green field investment. The building complex follows the latest sustainability principles: solar park, heat exchange ventilation system, heat pumps and green energy ensure climate-neutral operation. The office building is characterized by Scandinavian elegance and ergonomics, while the comfort of employees is served by modern Swedish furniture and a flexible work environment.
The truck and bus service is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including ground-integrated lifts and automated warehouse systems. The new center not only supports Volvo Trucks’ sustainability goals, but also significantly increases work efficiency. Roger Alm, president of Volvo Trucks, and vice president Robert Grozdanovski were also present at the ceremonial opening, who praised the importance of the new site in strengthening Volvo Trucks’ market presence in Hungary.
The new location will start work in the second half of September, raising the services and customer experience of Volvo Hungária Kft. to a new level.
