The Ministry of Rural Development (VM) would easen the damage of dairy producers caused by aflatoxin

The Ministry of Rural Development has been working on the regulation, which would provide assistance to producers who are forced destroy their milk that excess the limit of aflatoxin content – Bognár Lajos, Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) responsible for food chain surveillance and agri management told MTI on Monday.

Bognár Lajos does not want to disclose more details on the issue.

MTI published news on Friday that a daily tens of thousands liters of milk should be disposed in Tolna county because the aflatoxin level in the milk products was higher than allowed, so the processors did not take over from them.  (MTI)
