Visa Europe: probably 38 million transactions on the last day before Christmas

According to the analysts of Visa Europe; there is a chance that on the 23^rd of December shopping turnover may reach a record in Europe – told the company to MTI on Wednesday.

The company expects that on the last day of the Chritmas purchasing fever, they will have to proccess 38 million transactions in a value of total 2 billion euros.
As the largest turnover occurred on the 23^rd of  December in 2008 and in 2009, the Visa Europe forecasts, that this year’s busiest day will be the 23^rd of  December – reports ProfitLine.hu.
