Visa Europe: probably 38 million transactions on the last day before Christmas

According to the analysts of Visa Europe; there is a chance that on the 23rd of December shopping turnover may reach a record in Europe – told the company to MTI on Wednesday.
The company expects that on the last day of the Chritmas purchasing fever, they will have to proccess 38 million transactions in a value of total 2 billion euros.
As the largest turnover occurred on the 23rd of December in 2008 and in 2009, the Visa Europe forecasts, that this year’s busiest day will be the 23rd of December – reports ProfitLine.hu.
